Standard dosing
- Victoza (T2D): 0.6 mg daily × 1 wk, then 1.2 mg, then 1.8 mg if needed
- Saxenda (weight): 0.6 mg daily × 1 wk, escalate by 0.6 mg/wk to 3.0 mg daily maintenance

- Similar class profile to semaglutide/tirzepatide
- Same MTC/MEN-2 boxed warning
Compounded availability
Compounded liraglutide is rare. The shortage-list framework that enabled high-volume compounded sema/tirz did not extend equally to liraglutide. Cash-pay programs centered on liraglutide are uncommon.
