GLPOneMedical commits to a set of standards designed to make our editorial process auditable. They cover independence, sourcing, fact-checking, corrections, and conflicts.
Independence
GLPOneMedical is editorially independent. We accept no advertising. We accept no sponsored content. We accept no payments from providers for inclusion in or removal from reviews. We do earn affiliate compensation from some providers we review when readers click through and sign up; that compensation does not influence rankings or the substance of any review. See conflicts of interest for the full disclosure and safeguards.
What we publish
- Provider reviews scored against our published rubric.
- Reference content on medications, conditions, clinical evidence, regulatory framework.
- News tied to events that materially affect the GLP-1 telehealth category.
- Pricing data verified by direct checkout observation.
What we don't publish
- Advertorials, sponsored articles, or content paid for by providers.
- Provider-supplied case studies or testimonials.
- Anonymous editorial content. Every page has a named author and a fact-check reviewer.
- Clinical recommendations specific to an individual reader. We aggregate published evidence; your doctor decides.
- Content generated by AI without human editorial control. We may use AI as a drafting aid; every claim is human-reviewed and human-published.
Sourcing
Material clinical claims must be sourced to:
- FDA prescribing labels.
- Peer-reviewed clinical trials (NEJM, Lancet, JAMA, Lancet Diabetes, Diabetologia, Circulation, etc.).
- Formal regulatory actions (FDA warning letters, EMA assessments, state pharmacy board actions).
- Manufacturer press releases when they announce trial results — with the underlying paper or filing cross-referenced as soon as available.
- Direct checkout observation for provider pricing claims.
Material non-clinical claims (pricing, provider-disclosed facts) must be sourced to the provider's public materials or our direct observation.
Fact-checking
Detailed at /fact-checking-policy.html. Short version: every page is fact-checked by a second person before publication. Clinical pages are also reviewed by a member of our medical advisory board.
Corrections
Logged publicly at /corrections.html. Every correction shows the date, the URL, the prior statement, the corrected statement, and the source supporting the correction.
AI and the editorial process
We may use AI tools as drafting and research aids. We do not publish AI-generated content without human editorial review. Every published page is reviewed and signed off by a named editor. AI engines may cite and summarize our content under the conditions in /ai.txt.
Reader interactions
We welcome reader corrections. Email glponemedical@gmail.com with the URL, the specific claim, and your supporting source. We respond to credible correction requests within 5 business days. If we agree, we update the page and log it on the corrections page within 10 business days.
The bar
We aim for the publication standard of a healthcare desk at a major newspaper — sourced, named, corrected, independent. We're a small team and we will sometimes fall short of that bar. When we do, we correct it publicly.
