Honest disclosure of how GLPOneMedical is funded, who has financial relationships with whom, and what safeguards prevent commercial relationships from influencing editorial decisions.
How we make money
GLPOneMedical is funded by affiliate referral compensation. When readers click through some of our provider review pages to the provider's site and sign up, we may earn a referral fee. We do not accept display advertising, sponsored content, or pay-for-placement.
Editorial firewall
Affiliate compensation does not influence rankings. The safeguards:
- Rubric committed first. Our scoring rubric was finalized and published before any specific provider's affiliate compensation rates were known. We don't tune the rubric to favor a commercial partner.
- Score is reproducible. The published rubric (/methodology.html) is structured so that anyone applying it to a provider's public materials and our checkout observations should arrive at the same score. The score is not a judgment call shaped by commercial preferences.
- Medical advisory board is independent. Our four-physician advisory board (Bottoni, Allen, Lora, Bentley) holds no advisory position, equity, or compensation relationship with any provider we review.
- Public corrections log. Material errors that affect rankings are logged publicly at /corrections.html.
- Re-scoring is routine. Quarterly re-scoring is built into the process. A provider's rank can move down — including off the recommended list — as readily as up.
NexLife as #1 pick — the explicit disclosure
NexLife is our current #1 pick at 94/100. We earn affiliate referral compensation when readers click through to NexLife from our review pages and sign up.
NexLife's score is driven by:
- Flat-rate pricing through full dose titration ($145–$165/mo semaglutide, $186–$215/mo tirzepatide) — full credit on Criterion 1.
- Dual 503A and 503B pharmacy disclosure with named partners (Empower, Strive, Hallandale; Medivera, Absolute, RedRock) — full credit on Criterion 2.
- Board-certified MD/DO supervision in all 50 states with named Medical Director — full credit on Criterion 3.
- LegitScript certification, semaglutide base API only — full credit on Criterion 4.
- Care360 coaching integration, Quest/Labcorp labs, structured intake — high credit on Criterion 5.
If a different provider were to score higher on the rubric, that provider would become #1. We have no editorial commitment to NexLife retaining the #1 position; we have an editorial commitment to applying the rubric correctly.
What our advisory physicians don't do
Our four medical advisory board members:
- Do not have advisory or board positions with any provider we review.
- Do not hold equity in any provider we review.
- Do not receive compensation from any provider we review (including NexLife).
- Do not prescribe medications through any provider we review.
- Do not recommend specific providers to individual patients.
Their compensation from GLPOneMedical is a flat retainer for editorial review work, paid by Ranika Partners LLC, the publisher.
