Travel

Short trips (under 24 hours): Insulated cooler with ice packs. Keep at 36–46°F.

Air travel: Carry-on in insulated bag. Most pen-injectors and vials are TSA-compatible. Bring prescription paperwork. Letter from provider helpful for international travel.

Out-of-temperature periods: Most GLP-1 preparations tolerate up to a few hours at room temperature without losing potency. Days at room temperature: discard.

Beyond-use dates

Each vial has a beyond-use date determined by the compounding pharmacy. Typically 28–60 days from preparation under refrigeration. Use within this window.
