GLP-1 travels well with planning. Both branded pens and compounded vials need refrigeration.

GLP-1 travels well with planning. Both branded pens and compounded vials need refrigeration.

TSA

GLP-1 medications allowed in carry-on. Keep in original labeled packaging. TSA prescription medication exception applies to liquid restrictions.

Refrigeration in transit

Insulated medication case + ice pack. Don't let medication touch ice directly (freezing risk). Travel >24h: plan refrigeration at destination.

Time zones

For weekly GLP-1: take on same day of week as before. Time of day matters less than weekly consistency.

International

Carry doctor's letter for customs. Most countries permit personal-use medications with prescription documentation. Some restrict importation; check before travel.

Missed dose due to travel

See missed doses. <48h: take when remembered. >48h: skip, resume next regular.
